I initially got this idea from a friend's blog and decided that it was a great idea and wanted to do it as well. The idea is make a list of 101 things that you want to complete and set a deadline of 1001 days. The tasks are a variety of things that will hopefully help us to become healthier, better individuals. We'll mainly keep track of things on our main blog (www.jen-and-chris.blogspot.com) but we'll update the list here to show what we've accomplished and what is still to come!

90. Spend $20 or less on groceries for 4 weeks in a row (4/4) - revised to $25 - 7/4/09: I would say that I completed this over the past 6-7 weeks. I did go over while Chris' parents were staying with us and otherwise went over by 31 cents another week, but not bad for a 6-7 week span. I've enjoyed this challenge and I know that I spent a LOT less money by spending only cash for our groceries/purchases. I think that my plan going forward will be to have $150-200 per month for all purchases (food, toiletries, household items/cleaners). This probably won't include pet food, as we make a few trips per Petsmart per year and spend quite a bit of money each time...went today and spent over $50 on two bags of cat food, but should last at least 6 months, if not longer.
